Would-be man of the people and Tory leader David Cameron should know better than to allow his portrait on an ad to be airbrushed (or Photoshopped as they say these days) - he’s not a bad looking bloke after all - but he did allow it and now his enemies are mocking him all over the place.
Labour, one senses, has the sniff of a workable election tactic here. The Tories are bound to run a presidential-style campaign (Cameron is the only asset they’ve got) and any hint of weakness or, perish the thought, vanity on Cameron’s part will be seized on and repaid with a vengeance.
It’s going to be a long old four and a bit months for call me Dave.
