As Loiuisie reminds me (see comments) I maybe was a bit harsh on George Michael in my comments yesterday about him and Robbie Williams appearing on the X Factor.
But I don’t think the boy has done justice to his talents even so; too many prangs in the Range Rover and encounters with muscular policemen.
On my passage through the nightmare that is London in December today I had two blasts of Wham’s ‘Last Christmas’, a damn fine Christmas record from a small field of (good) Christmas records.
And George is singing his heart out, an epic performance.
Was this George’s best performance? I’m sure he wouldn’t agree.
