British duo Jonah Bloom and Matt Creamer have quit US trade mag Advertising Age for a newish website company called Breaking Media. Bloom, who used to be editor of PR Week, and Creamer were, respectively, editor-in-chief and senior editor (do American magazines have junior editors?). They've been replaced by Ad Age staffer Abbey Klaassen, who must be one of the prettiest gals in media (that's if you ignore all those pics in the Daily Mail of their feature writers in their prime). What with Media Week here in the UK going online only due to popular demand (or lack of advertiser demand) and Jonah fleeing the print media for a web-only operation there's a fair bit of upheaval in the ad trade media sector. Any venture capitalists wishing to exploit this opportunity (if such it be) please get in touch!

There’s a gap in the market but is there a market in the gap? I don’t think so, for better or worse life has changed!
