Which sounds a bit macabre but after all the hoo-ha about events surrounding his death and some pretty sick-making tributes which seemed to pay more respect to the media circus surrounding the late singer than his performances, there are actually some new Jackson recordings that might see the light of day.
These apparently go back to the Motown period and are currently being revived and remixed. Mr Blatherskite can still recall the embarrassment of jigging around to the Jackson Five’s I Want You Back only to discover that the brilliant vocaliser was about five at the time, but may show us what exactly we’re missing.
As to Jackson’s unfortunate demise - does any celebrity in southern California die from natural causes?
