Not even a heavy lashing of permatan can disguise the former PM’s embarrassment, as you can see here.
But maybe Blair’s misdemenanours really are catching up with him, he’s facing a public grilling over Iraq now for instance, in the current Government’s much-amended Inquiry.
Although not even Mr Blatherskite would suggest that he’s had a ‘Norman Lamont incident,’ where the former Tory chancellor of the exchequer received one in the eye when in hot pursuit of Lord Forte’s hotel designer daughter Olga Polizzi.
Blair was receiving the Fenner Brockway medal for ’services to India’ from his old pal Lord Mandelson.
What has Blair ever done for India?
Apart from not invading it of course.

You might like to visit his website to see what he’s done for India. It might just help you understand. I doubt it though.
