Staffordshire Tory MP Bill Cash, one of the Eurosceptic MPs who made last Tory premier John Major’s life a misery, has been caught out paying his daughter Laetitia £15,000 from public funds in rent for accomodation he didn’t actually use.
To add to Tory leader David Cameron’s embarrassment 35-year old Laetitia, an aspiring barrister, is on the Tory list of approved women candidates. Ouch!
Cash senior says loftily that “what is lawful is appropriate.”
How on earth can paying your daughter pocket money courtesy of the taxpayers be lawful?
