Oscar-seeking actress Kate Winslet, who’s also famous for stripping off on screen and submitting to the improvements of the retoucher’s Photoshop, says it’s about time she started loving her bum, a piece of her anatomy that’s bothered her since youth apparently.
Kate reckons she’s not alone in being bothered by her bottom, telling the Mail on Sunday that there’s scarcely a woman in the whole country who doesn’t “check the tush” before going out and embarking on another hard day’s grind of daft interviews.
And this airhead is supposed to be serious actress?
Tonight she’s up for a Bafta or two in her quest to land an Oscar for her part in The Reader, a film about a former SS guard who takes up with a young boy, to the accompaniment of the aforementioned heaving tush.
If she doesn’t win the Oscar she’ll become the most-nominated actress not to land the top prize.
And that really would be the bum’s rush. Or tush.
