We have a new leader today in our ’statement of the bleedin’ obvious’ competition, a survey from the aids charity (or that’s what I thought it was) The Terrence Higgins Trust.
This online poll by YouGuv, which used to be a serious political pollster, purports to show that 53 per cent of men think sex is the best free option but only 21 per cent of women agree. 28 per cent prefer to gossip (that’s the spirit).
On balance though, 37 per cent…..yawn, yawn.
Terrence Higgins head of policy Lisa Power enlivens it all with an off-the-cuff quip however.
“During the credit crunch,” says Lisa, “our famed British stiff upper lip may not be as stiff as it was before but other parts still are.”
Wonder what her pillow talk’s like?
