Poor old England must have been wishing they'd stayed in Dubai as they let a winning position slip thanks to some brilliant Indian batting, led by Sachin Tendulkar with his 41st test century and bete noir Yuvraj Singh who seems to have forgotten how not to score against England. England, who had played well until the final day, suffered because of the failings in both innings of captain Kevin Pietersen and Andrew Flintoff which meant that they didn't score quickly enough to set India an unreachable target, despite two centuries in the match from opener Andrew Strauss and one from Paul Collingwood. In the last innings England chose to sledge Yuvraj, with the noisy Flintoff leading the way, which was not an intelligent thing to do - a bit like tweaking the tail of a tiger. They should be grateful there are only two tests in the series.
