Celebrity TV chef Gordon Ramsay isn’t usually short of a word or two, as I’m sure you’re ****ing aware, so imagine the frustration among her majesty’s press as he goes to ground following the News of the World’s accusation that he has been conducting an affair with ‘author’ Sarah Symonds.
(For the bookworms amongst you, Sarah wrote Having An Affair? A Handbook For The Other Woman, which she had published at her own expense and which earned her a brief interview spot on the Oprah Winfrey Show).
Ramsay did make an appearance with wife Tana on Sunday for the photographers, presumably to get them off his chilly doorstep, but refused to say anything other than that he was peckish and about to assemble Sunday lunch.
But Sarah’s the interesting one in this alleged menage. Apparently she’s 38, a PR and marketing executive (when she’s not being an author) and travels up to London from Newport in Wales (quite a long journey for an hour and a quarter in a hotel room).
So far she’s decided to keep schtum too. But a well-paid series in one of the papers surely awaits her, plus a likely appearance or two on various reality TV shows should she decide to describe her adventures.
I wonder when kiss and tell expert Max Clifford will make his first appearance in this saga?
