Censorship is tricky enough when it’s people doing it but now Apple’s iTunes has gone barking mad and started censoring words like ‘bum’ (well maybe you can see where they’re coming from), ‘pussycat’ (no, you don’t call it that) and even ‘Johnny’ as in Johnny Cash (no, he wasn’t named after a prophylactic).
And it really, really doesn’t like h*t.
Oh well, blame it on those rappers. Interestingly it censors ‘the owl and the pussycat’, which I wouldn’t have thought was a big order on iTunes, but not the Pussycat Dolls, who presumably are.
