Well RocknRolla (it's still an awful title) is the top grossing British film just now; so director Guy Ritchie can tell all us wiseacres where to get off. Actually the critical response to Ritchie's latest gangster saga was mixed but few pundits reckoned he'd revive a sagging career in which, latterly, he was best-known for being Mr Madonna. But the boys from the pub clearly like it and Ritchie has never claimed he was trying to produce anything other than entertainment. And it's taking more money than any other film in the UK, and that's what finances the next one. A daunting prospect some would say. But please don't cast the wife in the sequel Guy.
